NO BATTERY REQUIRED. Hi check out youtube Fishcatcherrodholder, Rod holders with strike indicatore. that let's you know when to set the hook on a fish. Strike indicator works like a bobber. When fish pulls strike indicator down 8 to 10 inches set the hook and reel'em in. The strike indicator has A Bright florescent ball highly visible day or night , and with low light.
