@s8tank Come on! If it was a 5 pounder nobody would give a damn about the same fish. And you know that. Of course, if it looks nice all the better, but first the pounds, then the rest. Take a 500 acre lake, put 10 singles in it: that's a callenge. Would it be crowded by 'big names'? No. I don't mind that people chase weights, all I was saying is that it's a bit of a freaky fish, but that it got chased because of its weight, not looks. Cause if that fish same weighed 5 pounds...

so, let's all put clay to the lead..... i think you cant get better camo then that. its a bit hard casting it but here's a little tip: in matchfishing clay is used to make groundbait heavy and less nutrishes. you can make that into a firm dough en just put a thin layer on your lead and out you go. might make the diff. or not.... :Plike how he is thinking bout his fishing, changing things, that's always the fun for me. its why i make my own baits: more to think about, more fun......
