idiot ? fairbrass has made a fortune from carp fishing and has caught many more and bigger fish than you have, there just sculpting there tactics around the feeding habits of the fish in the video thats the whole idea the semi fixed rigs ie lead clips they can use the weight of the lead to throw the hook before the lead comes off with that running rig the lead will slide up away from there mouths so they cant use it to shake the hook so jog on you sad little youtube criticising mug

please can someone tell me whats the deal with semi fixed leads? fairbrass goes for a running rig but still wants to put a backstop on? idiot!ive used the most simple of rigs for years and out caught most. a running lead,a bead and hair-rig and in part5 i was vindicated for using it.lol.but fairbrass still cant get over thinking the lead hooks the fish?when it doesnt,its used to let the carp get away with it?????

Is it just me but im sure his hookbait lands right on top of his lead when he casts in at 4:12 If that is the case then somebody as experienced as Danny Fairbrass should be feathering the lead down to kick the hook bait away from the lead when NOT fishing against the line clip

Nice video and great fish. Recently went to France for a week at Etang De Villaine. Was there for 5 nights and caght 24 fish and they were all over 20lb, eleven of them were over 30lb.
