haha i loved it. im a carp fisher and love it. but im tempted to take one of my carp rods and test this out for myself. beets going the gym i guess haha. why you hating this video so much i dont understand. its a laugh. as long as the fish isnt injured. but if you came to one of my lakes with a stand up i think id say, fuck off and spook some other fish haha. enjoyed the video all teh same tho.

Also on a different note, why did you say "unhook the beast" instead of "unhook it". It just seems a little odd. Melodramatic even. Cheers

@smackheadz1 .Well what would would a carp angler say if I came and fished for carp with a stand up 30-60 with a two speed reel loaded with 80lb braid, you would do your nut. "Oh your going to damage the fishes mouth"etcetc. What that prick Ian Chillcott is trying to prove is that you can land a conger on a carp rod. Which he didn't prove as he was using really heavy braid, the rod spent most of its time almost vertical with braid doing the work.
