@fijian0811 Let me suggest you order so-called 'bait stops' from any carp tackle shop. This is very cheap, and is much more efficient as stoppers.

Hey. Great videos but I have one question. I can never seem to keep the corn on the hair rig. I use toothpicks as the stoppers but the corn just slides through. Is there any trick to this? Thanks.

@JeromeMoisand thanks for the advice, I'm also looking at underwater video cameras, I have a sony hvr v1 Hd camera for my work but there's no chance of me slinging it into a carp pond :-) . Great work we've all learned a lot from these.

@roontunes Thanks. Actually, using a treble hook is counterproductive. Not only this can seriously damage the mouth of the fish you catch, but also they can feel it very easily and simply reject the whole thing. My advice is to use very sharp single hooks.

brilliant set of videos, I'm hoping to go carping next year and I'm SSSSSOOOO glad I checked out your videos. I'd never have guessed that these fish were as suspicious as this or mouthed and blew out the bait so much. I wonder would a small treble hook be more likely to catch hold if they are so finicky
