Carp Live! Stiff Rig (Underwater video)

Underwater video related to carp fishing. I was playing around with a rig made of a stiff hook link (Snakebite 25lb) and a hair positioned along the hook shank (using a hair aligner). Then I introduced a couple of variations on the hair rig. At the very end, you'll find a "dancing carp" (I swear!). Visibility was quite good today.

Hi I'm new to carp fishing I was wondering if you could give me some advice, how long would you recommend leaving your boilie/pop up in water before recasting I sometimes feel I'm not leaving it in long enough. I also use pva bags

line far too thick, i think stiff rigs should be kept short for best results..just a thought,..

why don`t you use a shorter rig. a small 6cm stiffrig. much more chance to hook

i think if u dont straighten the hooklink out as much the fish will have a better chance of gettin the hookbait further into the mouth before the lead comes into play, resulting in more hooked fish
